Group Juggle |
|
10:10-10:30am – Icebreaker (20 mins) |
Thinking through the process, the mentees will juggle an object among members of the group. They will progress as additional objects are introduced.

Mentors will encourage their mentees to think through the process of juggling multiple objects using the problem-solving method included. |

Problem Solving Worksheet |
|
10:30-10:40am – Activity 1 (25 mins) |
The mentees will be introduced the problem-solving process and asked to utilize their new skills to complete a worksheet in which they have selected a problem they would like to solve currently. |
Leading the discussion about the steps of the problem-solving approach, mentors will help mentees understand the process and utilize this process to come up with a real solution to a problem of their choosing.

Tower Building |

10:40-11:25am – Activity 2 (35 mins) |
Mentees will create towering masterpieces as they work together to solve the problems that building the tallest towers will present.
|
Providing guidance and instructional tips, mentors will assist their mentees in creating the tallest tower compared to the other groups. |
